• Protect valuable and sentimental items that could be harmed.

HANDY ROOFING PREP TIPS

• When removing old shingles, you must inspect all decking for split or broken decking.
• Replace or re-nail decking as needed.
• Clean decking or loose debris.
• Install 15lb or 30lb felt paper or underlayment.
• Install shingles with 4 nails per shingle.
• No more than 5 5/8 inches from the bottom of the shingle.
• Never use staples on fiberglass or asphalt shingles.
